Job Description

At iBanFirst, the Product Department is composed of 10 product managers organized into two groups — Core Offering and Client Lifecycle — each focused on delivering exceptional value to our customers.

You will join the Core Offering group, whose mission is to provide iBanFirst customers with optimal coverage in terms of financial products and geographies, ensuring efficiency while remaining fully compliant with regulatory and technical standards.

 

The Core Offering group focuses on three key drivers:

  1. Maximizing Coverage and Consistency : Expanding geographic reach, increasing currency and product availability
  2. Promoting Customer Autonomy and Backend Automation : Simplifying and streamlining payment and FX trading experiences
  3. Ensuring Technical and Regulatory Compliance : maintaining the highest standards of compliance as a regulated payment services provider

You will play a crucial role in helping drive these strategic objectives, working at the intersection of product innovation, operational excellence, and regulatory integrity.

 

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with your Group Product Manager to define, refine, and prioritize initiatives within your product area.
  • Translate business needs, customer feedback, and technical constraints into detailed user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of product features: from ideation and scoping to launch and iteration.
  • Collaborate daily with engineering , design, operations, and risk/compliance teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early, and work cross-functionally to drive solutions.
  • Analyze product usage, business impact, and client feedback to continuously improve your product area.
  • Contribute to the improvement of product development processes and best practices.
  • Support go-to-market activities by preparing documentation and contributing to feature adoption.
  • Ensure all product work aligns with regulatory and compliance requirements.

 

What do you bring?

  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience managing the full product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery and iteration.
  • Native or full proficiency in French + good level of English (minimum B2)
  • Ability to simplify complex problems into clear, actionable plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and in French.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with engineering, operations, and business teams.
  • Data-driven mindset, comfortable using metrics and feedback to drive decisions.
  • Curiosity, critical thinking, and a proactive attitude toward learning and ownership.

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a regulated environment (payments, banking, fintech, or similar industries).
  • Functional knowledge of payments, accounting, or foreign exchange (FX) processes and systems.
