The Role

Recruitment Context

This is a growth hire driven by team restructuring and our continued UK expansion. You will be joining at an exciting moment: iBanFirst UK is scaling aggressively, with a new Head of Desk joining the team in May and 8 FX Sales Executives actively pushing new business. At iBanFirst, Account Managers are the backbone of our client relationships. You won't be cold-calling — you'll be handed a portfolio and trusted to make it grow. Your job is to become the go-to expert for your clients: advising them on FX markets, executing transactions with precision, and ensuring they get maximum value from the iBanFirst platform.

  • Cross-sell and upsell across the iBanFirst product suite
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to support new business and smooth client onboarding
  • Work with Compliance and Due Diligence teams to ensure accounts are up to date
  • Coordinate with Treasury, Risk, and Settlements teams to guarantee seamless trade execution
  • Meet weekly and monthly activity targets and revenue KPIs

Role Objectives

First 3 months:

  • Get fully up to speed on the iBanFirst platform, products, and internal processes
  • Take ownership of your initial portfolio and establish strong day-to-day client relationships
  • Hit activity targets (call volume, time on client conversations)

First 6 months:

  • Grow portfolio revenue through consistent cross-sell and upsell activity
  • Operate autonomously on client interactions and FX execution

First 12 months:

  • Take on additional clients from the Sales team as the book grows
  • Be recognized as a trusted, high-energy presence within the team and by clients
  • Progress toward a higher AM Grade, with a clear trajectory in a fast-growing market

What do you bring?

Experience:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in FX, international payments, or financial services in a B2B client-facing role
  • Proven track record managing client relationships and driving revenue
  • Experience in a fintech, payments company, or FX brokerage is strongly preferred

Skills/Knowledge Required :

  • Strong FX knowledge: comfortable quoting spot and forward transactions, full understanding of the yield curve and its impact on forward pricing
  • Market awareness: you follow macroeconomic news, geopolitical developments, and their impact on FX markets — clients expect you to be their eyes and ears
  • Outstanding communication skills: polished, articulate, and confident across phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • High energy and positive presence: you light up the room, bring enthusiasm to every client call, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Sales mindset: you're proactive, persuasive, and naturally look for opportunities to deepen client relationships
  • Comfortable with technology and its application in corporate FX functions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance and risk frameworks
  • Fluent English (full professional proficiency required)

What do we offer?

  • Permanent contract
  • Office location: London
  • Work policy: Full-time in the office (5 days/week). Flexibility for exceptional personal circumstances (medical appointments, etc.).
  • Base salary: £50,000 – £65,000 depending on experience
  • Bonus: Up to £30,000 per year performance-based

Benefits & perks:

  • Be part of a true pan-European FX player present in 14 markets — a unique network to serve international businesses
  • Work with a market-leading product suite, including innovative instruments like the Dynamic Forward
  • Collaborate with colleagues across European offices, with opportunities to visit other cities and work with AMs from across the network
  • Join a young, energetic, and ambitious team at a pivotal moment of UK growth (targeting 30–40% per year)
  • Pension scheme
  • Private health insurance
  • Vitality membership — 50% off gym memberships and exclusive health perks
  • £100/month lunch contribution (Deliveroo, 5 days a week)
